I found the skype session very interesting. Technology is always changing. I would never have thought that it would one day be possible to talk to a person face to face via the computer whether it be a few blocks away, states away, even in other countries.
I would find it very interesting to use this for educational purposes. If a field trip is not in the budget you can always contact someone to give a lesson thru skype. For example, I would contact someone at the Smithsonian to do a history lesson and to show the particular exibit that I would want my students to see and explore. Skype, if used properly, could be used in a whole new way.
